When I first played Hollow Knight, it seemed very boring and unappealing. However, a few hours after getting out of the Forgotten Crossroads, the experience turned around completely. Now, after 192 hours or playtime, I can say that the music and art is beautiful. Exploring Hallownest, uncovering its secrets and facing off against its many bosses was such an incredible experience that I wish I could do it all for the first time again. If you have yet to play this game, I strongly recommend checking it out. And if you have played but not given this masterpiece a fair shot (sub 4-5 hours), I strongly reccomend you reconsider.
