This game is a treat to look at, the handcrafted scenes are fun to explore. The story is somewhat weird - in a good way -and some of the puzzles are even weirder, meaning completely illogical. (SPOILER: using metal protection to mend an electric cable is NOT good for you health, just saying... ) The inventory doesn't work like in most adventure games, here you can't combine things on your own, the game does it for you as soon as you have acquired all items. That takes away some of the fun, but on the other hand it streamlines the gameplay so you don't have to waste time trying out things that don't work. Personally I prefer the old way, I like to make my own mistakes, lol. All in all I enjoyed the game.

This game was a lot of fun, very enjoyable. The game world feels alive, it's an open world that offers you a lot of side missions where your choices impact the outcomes.. It took me some time to learn the different aspects of the game, especially the hacking was difficult in the beginning, but it soon became fun. Controls are fine, played it with mouse and keyboard. All in all a really great game :-)

What I could see of the game looks very nice, but the controls for mouse and keyboard are really not good. Couldn't even get over the first obstacle on the 2nd screen because the wall I was trying to wall-jump, pushed me strongly in the opposite direction. Wasn't able to quit via menu, either. Seems to early to publish as a demo.

Really enjoyable game, reminding of A Short Hike, with a very friendly atmosphere. Mainly exploration and gathering of resources, a bit of building, you can talk with your campers and get different tasks you can choose to complete. Everything goes at the pace you choose, very relaxing gameplay.

Venetica has aged well, its worldbuilding is excellent, good level design and relatable characters. Three different guilds to join and a lot of side quests that are actually fun give it good replay value. Combat was fun, the controls work well. One of my favorite games on GOG.
