I pick SOE back then out of curiosity after played Sacred but oh boy it did better unexpectedly. First of all, you can pause in game, not "pause but you can't do anything with the characters" but pause like KOTOR and Mass Effect where you can cast spell like buff, debuff, heal, or AOE or drinking potions. You can also craft here to create and upgrade the equipment and also create potions. The story is one of better than other ARPG, some action we did or quest that we didn't do will affecting the ending, it's like playing JRPG but not turn based. The elements like water defeat fire defeat wood defeat earth defeat metal cycle also gave a nice touch, the elements also affecting the equipment that support each other, like water shoes strengthen wood armor. And then the bad, skill must be obtained throughout the story and the skill's final upgrade must be chose only one in each character. the english voice character is bad, thankfully GOG version has chinese one that is better. 80% music in this game is also bad, problem is music and voice acting have the same slider in option. The enemies didn't scale with character's level, but level's progression is slow so maybe it doesn't matter much anyway. Speaking about character, you can only play 5 characters and class, no hybrid class that you can combine, it's fixed because of the main story in this game. I still playing this game, and I glad it's in GOG now. Because ARPG need something like a good story and gameplay, and not everything about good graphics IMHO.
Already have it on steam, buy it again here. I don't remember how many times I finished this game, all I know is this tomb raider version is really balance. There are some puzzles but not that hard, some action not too much and you can just silent kill the enemy. What I really don't like from this game is that quick action button, it's just unnecessary and annoying. The story is meh, I don't really care about it, beside when they were talking in the cutscene I just try to focus on lara, cause to be honest that's my main reason playing this game
First of all, I've still playing this game till now, from the first time when it has some bugs, and fewer now. For you who like adventure rpg, this one is not for you, for you who like turn based rpg this one is also not for you, but if you like fast paced rpg and hackslash like diablo, titan quest, you may like this one. + a lot of side quests, like a mean a lot + all character classes are unique + open world map + The graphic is really good and really cheap on the pc spec + Dragons - You can't choose a gender for your character - Some bugs still exist especially side quest - The main story is boring - sometimes the enemy is too much and can gang you till death
This RTS maybe one of my favourite back at that time, starting from the mission that can be called really brilliant. Even though it looks easy at first, after that the tactical movement and placement of the troops is necessary. The dropship i think it's really brand new reinforcement system, It's a hybrid with "capture the flag mode" in strategy. Because you can just capture the enemy landing zone and make them without any reinforcement, although sometimes it's really hard to do that. This drospship system also made the gameplay fast paced, you don't have to think much about the resources that is only the Acquisition points, just know when to reinforce the troops and what troops do you need. The graphics also fabulous, the sky, the water, those units, the details are awesome. The sound effects also excellent, you can hear the unit's gunshots and shoutings, also the sound of engine vehicles, although i don't really like the music, but that is just my personal opinion. Little problem for this game is that the skirmish mode, you can only choose two factions, that is human and the alien, there is northern star alliance for the human, but what about the terran? there are some nice and unique vehicles that we cannot play in skirmish, too bad Overall if you like RTS, or tactical strategy, give this a go, it may not as hard as tactical strategy you played before, but it's still challenge and worth it to try
