This is the exact game that you remember from the nineties, unfortunately it's also got the exact same bugs. Once your theme park has reached a certain size, handymen and mechanics become useless as they zip around in circles. The only way to stop it is to fire them, hire some more and then repeat the process in a few months. Apart from that, you'll get plenty of game time out of it.
