Good atmosphere and art. Enjoyable difficulty level. Big map with interesting layouts and a lot of different paths of progress. However, it's not perfect. Early game (around 5h in 30h game) requires farming money by killing the same enemy over and over just to afford basic purchases like save points and unlock map. A lot of sidequests are boring grind like "kill 25 common enemies". A lot of bosses summon weaker enemies (while it's manageable, I don't think anyone finds these kind of fights fun). Quest journal does not make a marker on the map to remind you where is the NPC who gave it to you. Also, the plot is boring for most part. Most of the game the main quest is simple "I want to reach that place to see what's there." Side stories boil down to "I need that item, bring it to me" or "someone is lost, find him". Big downgrade from interesting stories of Hollow Knight.
