Well, the animations of the main character are more suggested than executed, that is when the main character takes something, eats something... In this way it looks like old 3D adventure games with fixed scenery. Else the story seems interesting... til now... I will see in the future... I am at the beginning of the game. To play, the ENTER key is very useful in order not to miss any object of each scenery... try it... it will help. I am sorry that it is not translated into French. If it were possible to translate the subtitles... Please... But happily the English is not too difficult.
This game is a travel through puzzles. Nobody helps your hand to solve each puzzle. You must imagine the rule of each puzzle then you solve it. This game is where imagination helps you solve puzzles and you get rewarded. Moreover the solutions are inovative with a kind of humour. Very good and fun game but not for every one.
Yes it works fine on Windows but it freezes (black screen) when saving on Ubuntu 22.04. When frozen, you must kill the process and you must restart from the last save because saving works one or more times before freezing. It seems that there are other bugs on linux systems. Then beware if you want to play it on linux. A patch please...
How to qualify this game? Weird, original, kafkaian, fustrating, fascinating, nonsensical, repetitive, imaginative, surprising, inovative, difficult, humorous, melancholic, linear with each stage a new strange and difficult puzzle, each time the player must understand/imagine what to do. It is so fustrating that when the game is finished you can't replay any stage/level of the game indpendently of the other stages. You must restart from the beginning. For me, it was a good experience... but it is not a game for everyone. The player must be ready to meet a very strange game.
The great strength of this game comes from the characters with their genuiness, their own stories and their story all together. Each one of them have their own personality and they fit well to the story. It is written like a thriller. I thank the dev for the French localization. The only issues I met are 1) The save system, you don't know when it saves (even if it is often saved automatically) and you can't save on a file. 2) The GoG cloud save is completely bugged (don't try to play on two computers sharing the same saves), it is a mess.
