GRIS

Staggeringly Beautiful

Gris was an absolute pleasure to play. Unlike other similar albeit gorgious titles that have come before (e.g. Journey), Gris takes full advantage of its medium in being a video game. The puzzles and map layout are surprisingly well crafted; finding a way to direct the player without holding your hand. Though, somewhat simple in comparison to other games, the main character handles well the interactivity with the world within Gris is substantial. From the art design, to the sound design, the animation, to the soundtrack, Gris is successful in providing an experience that should not be missed. + Amazing art design + Detailed and elaborate sound design + Great atmosphere + Fluid controls + Good Puzzles + Exceptional sound track

Finding Paradise Soundtrack

Freebird Does It Again - Outstanding OST

Perhaps even more gripping the narrative that accompanies it, Finding Paradise’s original soundtrack is a work of art. Both this title and its predecessor, To The Moon, were developed by people who understand how to evoke genuine emotional responses though their melodious story telling. If you’re like me and you just finished Finding Paradise, do like I did after completing To The Moon – By this soundtrack now!

Finding Paradise

Freebird Does It Yet Again

As a follow up to the masterpiece that was “To The Moon”, Finding Paradise finds itself with extraordinarily big shoes to fill. Though it doesn’t quite reach the level of its predecessor, Finding Paradise explores a unique individual and family dynamic that distinctly separates itself from this series’ previous entry. Though not quite as emotionally impactful, the amazing soundtrack, great dialogue, and good story pacing will ensure that this title still resonates with you long after you’ve finished playing it. For those who’ve played To The Moon, its accompanying miniseries follow ups, and A Bird Story, you’ll gain a bit more from the winks and nods to previous entries sprinkled throughout the game. For those coming in fresh, you’ll still find yourself emotionally invested in the story. Regardless of your entry level, everyone wanting to experience a quality story should give this game a shot. + Phenomenal Soundtrack + Emotionally gripping narrative + Great Dialogue
