I bought the game because of the Lovecraftian theme and the gorgeous art however I got way more fun out of it than I was expecting. Sure I was ready for a short burst of comic relief title but honestly the ritual mechanic while it seems simple at first glance provides so much needed interaction with the player in the visual novel that I'm just dumbfunded noone did this before... Also I loved how the game is practically centered around the ritual feature but it's constantly expanded til you get an actual challenging endgame around it. Visual Novels tend to bore me after a while but this one is creative, fun and over the top hilarious. Not to mention the art is incredible, the voice acting is way better than it has any right to be in an indie and the music is great. A charming little pack of genius on my opinion. Gonna be on the look out for more from this dev.
