Hello, gamer, Here are my comments which could help you to give this game a try : Kathy Rain is an independant point&click game. A classic hommage to the point&click style of the 1990s Mature theme story. No spoil here but very good thriller atmosphere at the second part of the game. As the title says 'a detective is born', you are following Kathy's story. And you will get to know her and fell closer to this character's aventure. Puzzles are numerous, and no you won't find anything in trashcans..... A few references at the Secret of Monkey Island shows up from time to time in the story (well, fans of MK will easily spot them) . The soundtrack fits well with the atmosphere and it i is never boring, even if you have to travel a lot through the same spots. Voice and noises are well crafted and bring a lot to the atmosphere (special mention to the audio cassette noises) Through this game, the developper shows us how he master the codes of good point&click genre. The game deserve to played in your library if you are an adventure fan. With Kathy Rain, the developper deeply show us how a big point&click fan he is. Thanks.
