While Gibbous is not a perfect, game it has a lot of charm ,the same type that made old Monkey Island Games entertaining. Meta Jokes, Pop-cult references dream logic puzzles are all there but the game helps you just enough so you don't feel stuck. Characters are likeable the setting and design are beautiful. However the story does not stick the landing, the last chapter and the ending feels a bit like a very sudden and out of place shift in tone, and does not provide proper closure.
