The old gwent was a hidden gem of gaming... really. But now all this is gone... but why is that so? Homecoming added rng and get rid of nearly all the tutor cards. Adding a facor of randomness for the sake of it. This makes a card game inconsistent and like rolling a dice: "Do I draw my key cards? No. Can I mulligan those cards? no. Well GG better luck next time". Gwent in beta wasnt like that. A lot of times you could draw the cards with your tutors or with your commander. Getting rid of mechanics like armor and the 3rd siege row. Because limiting options is great and allows a fun gameplay. Also locking the limit of cards on the field makes no sence to me. The factions seems so useless that everybody runs the witcher trio combo or the spear and shield artifacts from the neurtal cards. The witcher trio is the best example: A great 9 points with a tutoring effect thining the deck of 2 cards... all gone Barely any diversity now. You can play 1 or 2 deck variants for every faction. This is a downgrade from gwent beta. Yes nilfgard viper witcher was real can cer, but why not balance it out. Too much damage is on the board. It feels like every card deals damage or can do it with an ability. Playing a alot of cards in the last round only to make it end 10 to 6 or sth like this. Immune is just mostly for monsters. So better luck next game. Everytihng is a gold card now and only 2 cards of bronze cards instead of 3 limiting your options even more. NotmyGwentanymore
