DROD 1+2+3

The longest, most puzzling vgame ever.

I always thought this game franchise had potential when I was just 5 playing DROD 1's shareware demo, and it's still proving difficult for me as a 23 yr old. This is the best puzzle computer game anyone could ever get. I'll just list what I think, below: CONSUMER WARNING: You better love solving puzzles that involve multitasking like in a scenario where... -You might have to kill enemies on the right-side of a room, BUT to do that... you have to keep pivoting your sword to the left because an enemy Roach mama is laying eggs that hatch on the left-side of the room THAT YOU CAN'T GET TO... until you deal with the right-side first. You could get trapped VERY EASILY, I'll add, in those type of rooms. Most others in a level are easy to moderately challenging. -Each game has 20 levels, each with ~10-20 rooms. Each room could have monsters in it you must kill with your sword(or other weapons past DROD1) to advance to the next room(depending on design; you could be locked out from proceeding to the next room if a room is not cleared of roach monsters, tar monsters, etc.). Thus, each DROD installment is time-consuming. -When you move, all enemy AI moves (except for some monsters)(Some may move towards you, or flee away from you) -When you pivot your sword CCW/CW, all enemy moves. -Most pathfind in a straight line to you, but each monster AI is designed to be unique. The AI is predictable, but also can be overwhelming. -Each game has an undo button, BUT only 1-turn is reversible... so don't rush. Think. DROD 1: Architect's Edition(The free DROD 1 without secret rooms)... didn't....have... an undo button... It was torture finishing that game. -OG Webfoot music isn't included...but it's online. -Progressing through each level can be thought of like going into an even lower basement level of a KD's castle before SS(You reach the other side of the world)... which is what fascinates me. It has a basic "Underworld Descent" story theme.
