I really wanted to like this game, as I thought the concept was good. However, the graphics quickly caught my eye, as they feel straight from the 1990's era. There's really no excuse for this pool graphical fidelity in modern times. Then, about ten minutes in the tutorial I ran into a progression blocking bug. The tutorial required that I target an animal for hunting, but the UI was locked out from doing so. I tried saving, quiting, and restarting the tutorial save game, to no avail. I even fully exited the game and tried again, also to no avail. Eventually I just restarted the entire tutorial, and that time it allowed me to target an animal for hunting. I then played another couple hours, but it just never got very interesting. The progression setup is very obtuse, and I kept upgrading technologies only to then find no way to do anything with that technology yet. Many of them are just steps to other tech, or they do something outside your control or general perception, such as people acquiring dogs. It's a game that feels mostly like an idler, where I occassionally make some choices, then skip ahead at 8x speed until the next choice, rarely having any real idea what each option meant.

I was having fun for a few hours. Then I acquired a second vehicle. I had two drivers available, so I fueled up both cars and had each driver start up their vehicle. However, when I selected "escape" it left one vehicle and its occupants behind, resigning me to a quick short solitary death a few miles down the road. The game should have a very explicit warning that you're leaving without people as well as making it more clear you can't have more than one vehicle.
