NOTICE: Review of GOG version on Windows 8 on 10/19/15 Unlike most of the reviews here, I actually own the game on GOG and have attempted to play it recently. First off, the game doesn't recognize modern GPUs and, instead, forces you to use the integrated graphics on your CPU. Even attempting to go into the Nvidia control panel and forcing the game to play on my 980 didn't work. As a result, this 15 year old game stuttered horrendously, having a difficult time getting over 10 frames per second depending on what you were looking at on screen. Furthermore, the game crashed on 3 separate occasions just while walking through the beginning area, likely due to attempting to use the integrated graphics. I have no idea how the other versions of Myst work on modern systems, but I would try a different version than this. This was a total waste of money.
