It's fine if you don't know nothing about the games before... I suppose. But as someone here, in this day in history, to see Ukraine haphazardly rewriting history by releasing an "enhanced" for modern audiences version that removes all that is great about the games. The only reason this game survived relevancy is because of modding, and that had to be removed. As well as any russian references, their No. 1 target audience of these games. Skip, and buy the originals whilst you can. They are classic gold and well worth it even today. And with modding, can look just as good if not better than these enhanced versions.
God do I love the screenshots, they show exactly what makes this game so amazing and immersive. I don't know about you guys, but especially in those first screenshots where you can see that perfect 3d rendering of darkness... it looks EXACTLY the same as my room at night. And with that said, it brings the game that much closer to home, giving a whole new dimension of scare!
