Hollow Knight: Silksong

The Last i'll get

Hey there. I've 100% Hollow Knight and now Silksong on first playtrough. Spent 130+ hours on the first and 100 on the second (20+ could be from afk). Here is my issue with both, and why this will be the last Team Cherry i'll get. Hollow Knight had some serious issues, a lot coming from the fact that barely touching the tip of an enemy tissue could get the Knight hurt. Now on Silksong, it's the same, but even worse. Most of the attacks, mostly bosses, almost all mobs in Act 3, deals 2 Masks. The IA responds instantly to any input, and from flawless run to being destroyed without being able to do anything is very common. Thus, ennemy moving in the exact same spot as the player, or even teleporting like Lace, could obliterate a skillfull (i've 100% both with no mods, and completed all HK Radiant Bosses, yes even Markoth) player way too fast for no other reason than a poorly designed gameplay. Imagine having to dodge an attack, then having the ennemy positionning (or teleporting) itself in your safespot, then chaining attack which you can't avoid etc etc.... I mean, having a Hero saving the kingdom being vaporized just by touching another being is at best a weird choice. It's painful to play and makes no senses at all. Another issues are related to sights. One, yes the Artistical Direction is awesome, always was. But putting things that prevent players to see what's happening because some first plan scenery is too invasive is a bad design. It's okay for immersion, not for bosses. Two, there's too much Flash in fights. First is the absurdity of getting temporarily blind by a flash when getting hit, which can cause another hit for no reason. And second are some attack patterns, mostly on bosses, from the character ability/tools as from ennemies, that does a flash too. I mean, the purpose of playing a video game, especially when it's supposed to be challenging, is to being able to SEE. Last thing, why is every dialog and boss entry cinematic so slow? ffs
