Really DRM heavy for a non-DRM game. :-(

Lots of DRM. Enter serial, create account with game company. Login for updates, mods and multiplayer. My guess is that they hope to pull a Minecraft and try to sellout for a fortune if game is a hit. I see no other reason for the heavy handed DRM. First off; The tutorial is garbage. Just to save you some trouble. Trains will only run in automatic mode in one direction if you only have an engine in one end. You can still run them in manual in both directions. Make a loop in each end and your train stations will no longer be unreachable. The game is lots of fun. The only four things that bothered me about game-play is: 1. You have an avatar! You run around on the map with a little guy and shoot and build stuff. I did not like this and would have preferred a pure logistics/management game. 2. You have to be IN RANGE (which is really short) with you avatar to build and fix stuff. You also easily get stuck on stuff so it becomes a pain... even more so when you have several bases. 3. Power lines and their posts, their reach if really short so you will have them EVERYWHERE. The block building of structures and will optimizing some builds a pain. 4. Driving. Drivings awkward and a pain in the butt. You hit stuff and everything is really fragile. Why even include drivable vehicles? I would have preferred a way-point system for transport. Was it worth the money? Well, I think the game play IS, but I would not have bought it on GOG if I had know it had DRM. I would have gotten it on steam and would have waited till it was on sale.

CARRION

Extremely fun and good control "feel".

I never have a problem with controlling the "blob" like I thought I would. Moving around and executing actions feels perfectly normal. What I like the most about the game is that it gives me a new (and FUN!) gaming experience even though I have played computer games for forty years. Its not another old 8-bit game copy. Its genuinely something new and exciting!

Cultist Simulator

Basically a memory game.

The main object of the game is to remember which card combinations does what and where and how to time them. It is fun for a while but you basically need a spread sheet to keep track of things. The great writing and story line kept me engaged for a while but in the end it felt too much like work and I gave up after opening the Stag door.
