Travellers Rest

Relaxing game

First, I must say, devs, you did a great job! I bought the game some 3 years ago and played it the last time 2 years ago. And it has improved so much while keeping the core the same. I really liked the idea of being a tavern keeper. Making the meals and drinks, and then keeping the tavern running. I also love the combo meals/drinks. There are so many possible meal combinations, and it's really fun making something unique. I only just started a new save (I did check my 2yo save though), and it seems that the production chains have greatly improved. With fishing and husbandry, you can truly go from the raw material to the grand meal. Overall, if you loved Graveyard Keeper or Stardew Valley, you'll probably love this game too!

UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection

Nice Assassin's Creed clone

If I had to describe the game in a single sentence - imagine if Assassin's Creed and Mafia had a child. This child is Uncharted. From Mafia we got very linear gameplay; you can't step left or right outside of the predefined path. The shootouts can be fun but also annoying at times. From Assassin's Creed, we have a lot of parkour, jumps and swings. The main downside is that there's practically no freedom. For example, there might be a 2-meter drop, and you die instantly if you jump there just because it's outside the predefined path. The story is quite nice, especially if you're into adventure books or movies. As a side note, the controls are meh. Probably because it was not designed for KB+M. I probably would appreciate the game more if the other 3 were available.

Outcast - Second Contact

It's good BUT

It's an interesting game from a historical point of view. Considering that the original was released in 1999, it featured nice mechanics and quite a big world. This remaster allowed me to experience that world without too much of a problem. However, it's 2021, and neither the size of the world nor the mechanics are impressive, but the story and the general idea make the game still good. My two main problems were wonky controls and countless bugs. Moving the character around feels very unnatural. The shooting is quite bad even with auto-aim, and don't you even try doing anything with stealth. Most of the bugs are graphical, like broken cutscenes and objects from a different region appearing in the current region (and floating in the sky). But I got a game-breaking bug too. The best thing about the bugs - it's enough to just quit the game to fix them. It's not worth the 35€ price tag though
