Killing Time (Classic)

Not quite there but still a fun time

Not a lot of people knows this was a completely redesigned version from the 3DO version. This was a rather unique Doom clone. Unlike most of them, Killing Time had one gigantic map with sections. This plays more into classical music in the 1950s era. At the same time, bringing Egyptian mythology. You get to fully explore the entire island. There's plenty of surprises on the way. The controls takes a little time getting used to. It's essentially an metroidvania style boomer shooter. You would be surprise how filled these sections of the map are with enemies. Overtime this game simply pulls you in.

Heretic + Hexen

Another amazing remaster from Nightdive

Just when Doom + Doom II blew me away last year. Somehow Heretic + Hexen surpassed it in a few aspects. You're getting two vastly different FPS games from the same series. Personally I prefer Hexen for a few reasons. Heretic just felt like the first two Doom games. Hexen felt more like a rather unique experience. One I can't really compare to other games. You get two versions of the soundtracks. A lot of nice bonus stuff you can check out whenever. This quickly became one of my favorite Nightdive remasters ever!!!

Maize

Short but surprisingly funny

This is a rather unusual point & click adventure game. The humor alone will constantly get you by surprise. You get to explore as you learn what happened. Don't forget you are accompanied by a robot bear that's quite rude. The difficulty is just right with some logics getting a little longer to figure out. Otherwise you got a fun game that doesn't hold back.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch

When simple tasks is a real challenge

Octodad will test you in many ways especially patience. The jokes are surprisingly clever with the levels being very interesting. Octodad instantly steals the show from the beginning to never ever let it go. The game will take you a few hours. I can promise you it's well worth your effort. It's a challenge that keeps you going.

Neighbours Back From Hell

Pranking never been this fun

It's a remastered of two Neighbours games. It's more of a comical stealth game. You gotta sneak around the levels setting up pranks for your neighbor and later his mom. Plenty of slap stick cartoon style humor. There's a learning curve to some levels. But it's so satisfying when you win em. A surprisingly fun remaster people should give a try.

Perfect funny game

This game is exactly what the doctor ordered. It's almost like every game genre rolled into one. Filled with creativity that's amazingly funny from start to finish.

Chicken Assassin: Reloaded

A surprisingly funny chicken game

Usually I don't enjoy clicker games. Somehow this one kept me playing for hours. Not to mention some rather funny jokes as well. It's easy to memorize how to play the game. Just know it will get repetitive at times. Don't give up, you keep experience after you lose. There's plenty of stuff you gotta check out too.

No Ghost in Stay Home

Strangely interesting game

For a cheap game having this many endings is kinda mind blowing. Usually you wouldn't expect a fracture of effort like that. I personally liked the art style especially the stuff meant to be scary. I wish the game would explain how it plays a little more than simply tell me. At the same time with limited controls not sure how to use em to get a few endings. The game itself is very short even One Night Stand is a couple minutes longer. Despite having a lot more endings in comparison. Among first playing you think it's an hidden object game. Not exactly it's more about anything you possibly do will effect things that help determines your endings. There's little to no dialogue that helps make the game feel a bit uneasy on people.

One Night Stand

Short and kinda interesting

One Night Stand is a style of game I usually don't go for. The game about you wake up confused. You seek answers about the previous night. There's a lot of endings you can go for. Personally I did like parts of the art style as well as the animation. I was more surprised by how realistic the conversations were. I'm used to point & click games you choose the direction of the story prior to this. This is a surprisingly shorter game you would expect. It's somewhat easy to memorize what you had done previously in newer runs. You also learn a lot about the other person. Despite being tagged Funny I haven't experience laughter. I just wanted to make that clear. The more important factor is it's easy to play.

Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse

A surprisingly funny zombie game

The closest GOG has to offer if you enjoy stuff like Dead Rising series. You play as Stubbs whose a smart zombie that terrorizes the humans. The impressive usage of humor really sticks with you. How the hell did I go a long time not playing this? It's a fun take on the concept that works way better than you realize. I simply love everything about this game. Sure there's a little of a learning curve. Once you get the game down enough just watch the madness play out. I highly recommend this game to play especially you want a different kind of horror game in your collection.
