Probably inspired Solo Leveling, as there are some crazy coincidences with the room of statues, and this whole series is kinda necromancy to begin with. The areas are less expansive than the original game, but theres 5 areas instead of 2. The mount system is massively improved and the on foot combat is similar so far. Mobility is crazy, I dont think you could go as fast in the first one. There is orc references to the first game orcs, like the tower. Orcs that pick up the mantle of previously slayed ones from the first game etc. Nemesis system still the goat. Too bad they copyrighted that so nobody can use it. Save system is trash, make sure to fast travel into a tower to force a save and not lose massive progress. Also the bow doesnt recharge anymore, you have to fetch arrows, which is annoying. Maybe a perk fixes that.
And it just doesnt translate through video. The flow, the performance optimization, even if you run integrated AMD RDNA/Vega graphics (as long as you have healthy ram and VRAM allocated through BIOS), this runs at high or medium depending on resolutions and FPS targets. Even on Vega graphics it can run smooth and looks fantastic. The only downside, really, is the ungodly size in the hard drive. Im going to take a chance to run Eternal on a mini PC now.
When its on sale for pennies its well worth it, has cloud saves too. This is from the golden era of Russian videogames (Targem\Buka\1C). The physics are very arcadey, a lot of the environment is destructible. The powerup designs and the sound of the cars is the worst part of the game.
Its a quick and dirty remaster with car sound issues and some graphical jank, but it overall has a lot better lighting than the original. Also has all DLC included. I am sure theres a patch out there to get it fixed. The real bad part is the original is around 10/15GB and this thing is 47GB. I would choose the original with all DLC over this.
