Ghostrunner

Brutal but fun

The game takes precision platforming to an extreme, but fortunately you only ahve to repeat small segments over and over and over to get right. Expect to die a great many times figuring out the moves and timing you need at each point.

Fort Solis

Not really worth it

As above, while the writing isn't terrible, there's just not a lot of it, and most of the game mechanics are clunky and too precise, while also seemingly not mattering to the overall progression. It isn't really worth the time I spent on it, though it does at least look nice.

9 Years of Shadows

Decent Metroidvania

The art style and atmosphere are good, but the controls are problematic enough, and with too few options to reassign buttons, to rank this higher. Still, worth the play.

Control Ultimate Edition

Strange but fun

The whole experience is quirky, following down paths of pseudo science in a world where it is fact.

Spells & Secrets

Pretty good but not great

I like the tile system and how every single room has a puzzle, most of which can be solved multiple different ways, yet with solving those puzzles bing entirely optional(killing all enemies in a room, though, NOT optional). There are a lot of good aspects to it, with the constant need to reevaluate your approach based on the artifacts obtained each run. There's a bit of a lack of depth to matters, IMO, that holds it back from greatness, but it's well worth the play.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Fun

It's not overcomplicated, like some FPSs tend to be. Storyline is decent, the changes to the setting from the Nazis winning WW2 are somehow less interesting than the things that change very ltte. Plus, you get to kill lots of Nazis.
