Resident Evil 2 is great and its pre-rendered backgrounds look charming. The game runs very well and I didn't experience any bugs. I played and loved the remake but I must say the original has better storytelling. I don't understand why they didn't put more files about the outbreak and the characters in the remake, it shouldn't be difficult to add more lore through notes. Thank you GOG and Capcom for re-releasing RE2
I loved every part of the game. I didn't want it to end so I tried to complete as many side quests as possible. I really enjoyed its story, gameplay, graphics and music. This is a game that I would definitely replay. I wish there would be a sequel though.
Story, puzzles, combat. I liked them all but QTEs at the beginning of the game drove me crazy to the point of deleting the game. Fortunately, after an hour or two there weren't too many QTEs. Great game and I'd totally recommend it.
When I heard the original Resident Evil trilogy was released on GOG, I got really happy. I hadn't had the chance to play Resident Evil (1996) and was planning to play the remake, but I bought this and started playing. The game is so good and it runs very well. I played as Jill first because the idea of limited ink ribbons would stress me out as I save a lot in the latest Resident Evil games. Luckily, Jill doesn't need ink ribbons in the first playthrough. The puzzles, music, and exploring the mansion were so exciting. I loved it. I'm gonna play the remake next but I might play as Chris before that. Thank you GOG and Capcom for this experience!
