XCOM2 delivered the experience I thought Enemy Unknown should have. In the areas where I criticised (somewhere else, not here) the makers of Enemy Unknown for failing, XCOM2 succeeded. I give the authors kudos for righting the ship, and coming back with a more than worthy successor to a legendary classic.
I wanted a game about harvesting resources and building a factory; Factorio is exactly that. I've played this game for a little while (check my stats), and thus far, gameplay has not been blemished by a glitch, crash or behavior contrary to documentation or gameplayer-intuition. I played Factorio on an ancient computer, so old, it was built by Pliney the Elder, and I still managed to build a VERY LARGE factory (with gazillions of those little flying droids) and game performed well. This is a mature game. It has been tested, refined and perfected. Factorio allows infinite effective ways to do things; but it REWARDS players who choose optimize their arrangements.
