Cyberpunk 2077

Disappointing mess

Nothing like starting to have fun with the game (particularly against a Cyberpsycho that moves pretty much like Motoko Kusanagi, optical camouflage included), and have the game crash in such a way I have to reboot the PC. It's rough around the edges. Even after more than a year of tuning still suffers from considerable poor optimization, constant pop-in of everything (from pedestrians to signs), people sitting in the air, and well, at this point we've have all seen the videos. The vehicle music is forgettable at best, annoying at worst, despite having an actual good non-diegetic soundtrack from Marcin Przybyłowicz. It sucks to see that it could've been a great game, but the development was seriously damaged by the executives and producers. That's what annoys me more, that it has moments of actual fun, that get mudded by sudden crashes or technical glitches. What a disappointment from what was one of my favorite studios.

WORLD OF HORROR

Practically abandoned.

0 communication from the developer in either Discord, Twitter or Steam. Comes back onces per year (if at all) makes some small update, and disappears again. Zero explanations. Modders put more effort and work that its developer.

Research before you buy.

Hey hey, people, just a friendly warning: game contains guro, rape and cannibalization. Sometimes all of it, at the same time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5s3jGiJOcE Have a nice day, and enjoy.

Masters of Anima

Small raid simulator

Ever wanted to feel what a raid leader feels in WoW or other MMOs? This game is pretty much that. You have to summon minions on the go, follow tactics and bosses patterns to achieve victory. My only gripe is that is short, and only becase I don't get to experience the end content and tools for longer. Other than that, is a lot of fun, and I seriously recommend it.

Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight

YES

I played this as a kid, not entirely understanding what was going on, only marvelling at the pixelated gore, the sound effects, the monster design, and it having some sort of local coop (more like versus, as it turned out). Never was I able to end it. When I revisited it via emulators as an adult, now able to read English, to get that it was indeed a hybrid of table-top/RPG/action game, where the final objective is to ascend to the heavens as the chosen knight of the druids, by completing a ritual that demanded reuniting the fragments of the "Moonstone", by traveling far and wide the lands represented in the gorgeous pixel-art of the game. But beware, becase rarely (if never) are those fragments unguarded, and most certainly, you're not the only knight in the same quest. TL:DR: Played dice in the tavern, earned enough coin to buy a bad ass sword, got chewed alive and swallowd by a fire-breathing dragon the next day. 10/10 Would recommend to everyone.
