Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number

A nice sequel with a few misses

Hotline Miami 2 is a game that makes you go bipolar with it: Either you love it or you really hate it. This sequel feels more like an standalone expansion of the first one, regarding not only the plot but also the singular gunplay and level design. In an overall experience is a good sequel except that it kind of "demand" you to play the first one, "and why is that?" you may ask, and I give your the answer: the curve of level difficulty. The game was designed pretending that the player already have finished the first one so, when dropping the player on it's first level, it really pushes the difficulty up to the point that can be a drop out for a novice (I own the first one on the Steam, finished it before buying this one). Despite that, the game offers some nice bullet hell/stealth-action oriented gameplay in a simplistic way that may satisfy or frustrate those who seek a quick frenzy on the PC. The story of the game is...convoluted...some nice parts help understand better the plot from the first one but generally you can't feel bounded to any of the characters due to their swap during gameplay. Also there are several different masks (players approach on the level, gameplay wise) that make it a nice replayable feature, that alligned with a beefy level editor and a plethora of fan-made levels online. Worth the buck, specially if you already played the first one.

Dungeon Keeper™ 2

Great Game, I believe it's fixed

DK 2 was one of the few pre-2000's games that really hook me up for more than +400 hrs. It's addictive gameplay and freedom are subpar compared to other games of the genre/time. When GOG first released the game, it was plagued with bugs, but as soon as they released the hotfix, the game runs smooth as it could... You can buy it without any trouble because it's WORTH every penny you put on it... Cheers....now if you excuse me, I have some heroes to "entertain"
