My kids totally adore this game. We must have played it together 50 times already. But it doesn't mean it's not for adults! However, you need to be special kind of adult. If you think you didn't lose your ability to put your inherent seriousness aside then go for it. You will be rewarded with the brilliant talent and originally that went into every scene, music piece and sound effect, and the overall good feeling Chuchel radiates every second it's on.
You like sci-fi, retro gaming and adventure games? Then what are you waiting for? Yes there are probably better games out there but don't get me wrong - this game is sure to satisfy to the fullest any adventuring desires you might have.
Back in the day, everyone is my country played this. I loved it and finished it multiple times. But looking at the screenshots and going back in my memories I'd rather not install this again because I have a feeling my nostalgia would get a huge hit. Probably better to leave this game to us 90s kids.
Back in the day, I considered BS 1 and 2 to be the best games I have ever played. Maybe I got too old but with number 5 the magic was simply gone. I didn't really care for the characters, story or puzzles. It was still entertaining enough to get me to the end (especially because I backed it on Kickstarter) but the experience was forgettable.
Yes it is repetitive and randomness is a major factor (although you can avoid that by choosing a different difficulty setting). But is also a game that makes you stop and think. Not because of hard puzzles but because you are faced with difficult moral dilemas. I don't remember any other game that managed to wake up these kind of feelings in me. This could only be achieved using an interactive medium; you are the one that ultimatelly seals the fate of the characters you are supposed to be taking care of. Shortly, this game is a rare gem that can be considered interactive art. You'll likely get frustrated playing it but the feeling is worth it.
