It's a great remake of the first Cossacks; graphics are good, everything is readable so you know what units you're choosing or going against, music and sounds are very similar to those from C1 and that's a good thing obviously. Skirmishes against AI are fun and recruiting massive amounts of soldiers to send them towards enemies' armies gives a lot of joy! So why only 4 stars? Because it's not a sequel to the Cossacks 2 but it's first Cossacks, with all the expansion, in a new coat of paint. If you wanted to see how improved Cossacks 2 would look like, then this isn't for you. But if you always wanted to play first Cossacks, or return to it, then you will love Cossacks 3!
