From time to time, after playing various types of games , I get the urge to experience a good old school Jrpg story. Last time I did this It got me into the Tales series and the Ys series. When the mood struck me again I happened upon this series made my the same folks from YS. Though I haven't gotten far, only to chapter 2, It's story and charming characters have captivated me and the combat isn't bore/slog to get through. I'd recommend this game and maybe even the rest of the triology to anyone who gets the Jrpg mood like me.
