great to see konami releasing their old games on gog but also touching the pc versions up with minor enhancements. Seriously this game is very under-appreciated, it does some really cool things and i personally find it the scariest of the original 4. Fingers crossed they bring back the rest of team silent games. awesome game, not just a throwback to the classics like megaman and metal slug. which if i had to compare it to something similar it would be megaman but dont get it twisted this game is special and unique in its own way. with its artstyle and aesthetic theyve gone for a 30's cartoon and have nailed it completely. you can see how this game took a long time to make. most importantly its hard, but good hard, like you dont mind dying cause its so fun to play and its got that super meat boy feel that when you die you jump right back into the action with instant replay. if i had to complain about one thing it would be the music only because it winds me up after dying about 30 times on the same boss hearing the same jazzie song play. but the music is great still. games great.
A brilliant game inspired by old-school classics such as mega man, castlevania, mario, zelda etc. The soundtrack is also fantastic. Prepare to be surpised as i was with one of the best indie games ive ever played. PS - King Knight is so Dandy
