I love the world of Cyberpunk, the beautiful art style, the attention to little details, the interesting characters, the engaging stories. I'd say the gameplay is okay, but the fighting sequences are not particularly enjoyable. The fps combat mixed with rpg elements is similar to what I've seen in Far Cry New Dawn, but in my opinion the latter has a better balance (regarding the combat): more shooter, less rpg. The driving, vehicle handling feels average. The interactions with NPCs are executed very well (this is where they should double down with the rpg elements). The transitions to 'cutscenes' are seamless. It is truly an open world game, there are no loading sceens which is really nice. A lot of the side quests are repetitive and uninteresting unfortunately. This is the aspect they shouldn't steal from the Far Cry games. Overall it would have been a 4/5 game. And after watching the absolutely fantastic Edgerunners series (I don't even like anime btw), I was ready to get fully immersed in this game... if it wasn't for those CTDs. 30-40 hours into the game the crashes are getting more and more frequent. At this point, I got really excited to play it through, but I'm giving up. I've encountered a couple of bugs (mostly UI, nothing game breaking), but the crashes completely ruined the experience.
