This game has a good balance between story lines, missions and combat. It takes quite awhile to get the levels up to a point where you don't die in battle. I have played this game 4 times (both versions) and find it so uniqueand massive. You can alter the gameplay IE: defy the Orcs and rid them from towns, but you will be failing several of the story lines. What I don't like ... the music gets tiring and although beautiful is too monotamous. The game also has a few visual issues like flickering and interferance from tree limbs etc... All that said ... it's one of my top favorite 20 games.

Not bad but I have better games!

I was very pleased with this game. It is pretty original although the look of it is a bit out dated. The vampire theme gave the creators fun additions to this game that others lack. The tutorial part is a little long in the beginning but well done. The interaction and dialog makes you feel like you're really in L.A. The game installed well and although I read of several glitches, I have not experienced any yet after 5 hours of play. If you like RPG fighting games, you best get this one.

If you're used to playing higher end games you might be disappointed with this one which feels like a complicated arcade game. That said, if you like arcade games you might enjoy this tactical themed game. I wish I had known that I wasn't going to be in control of my character at all times or I wouldn't have purchased it. During combat you have to move your fellow NPC's around like chess pieces which I found irritating. The game installed fine and played without glitches (patch installed), and the graphics are decent, although sort of like a doll house in appearance and the characters are cartoon-ish so if you expect a more realistic game play, well it's a stretch.
