I used to play a lot this game in my childhood, and being able to play it again here on GOG is amazing!! I simply hit the play button and the game ran without any problem, didn't need to configure anything. I played it on Windows 10. The graphics of this game are very nice, and the gameplay is really simple and addictive. I think that people who doesn't have too much experience in strategy games, like me, can have a lot of fun too. You can save and load your game whenever you want, helping you to play it just for a few minutes a day if you want. The video-messages from the aliens that you send and receive are really cool!! I really wish there was a PT-BR dubbed version, since I'm brazilian and it was dubbed at the time. But the english voice-overs are great! Also, it has a CGI ending for each race when you conquer the planet. The game comes with a manual having a background storyline for each race that are very worth reading, they give a lot of immersion. Playing as Maug and trying to conquer the planet ahead of the Cyth was really cool. I missed a campaign mode for the game. But even though you can have a lot of fun with it. The quick-gameplay mode has a nice difficult, and if you want more challenge, you can create a new game changing the configurations to tune the difficulty. You can even change some planet configurations before starting. An online mode would be cool, but it's really fun to play it on singleplayer. Really liked the game!!!
