Bethesda/Obsidian totally ripped this game off with Fallout: New Vegas. What total crap! I mean Fallout 3 was an all original creation/reimagining of the Fallout series, then they go and make New Vegas and rip everything off from Fallout 2. I know that some Obsidian employees were former employees of Black Isle Studios, but still... they should be ashamed of themselves for ripping this game off. I mean, they snagged everything! The NCR, the tribal atmosphere, geckos, etc... Shame on you Bethesda and Obsidian! Now as for this game, I have just begun to play and I'm about 4 hours in... So far this game is a perfect 5/5! There has been many improvements made from the original Fallout! I can highly recommend this game to any fans of the Fallout universe or for new to the series players out there like myself. I won't lie, I first learned of the Fallout universe from Bethesda with the launch of Fallout 3. Since then, I've found myself to be addicted to this universe. I have my fingers crossed in hopes of a port to the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. Devs out there, please make this happen ASAMFP!!! :-D

I just received this game for free from Gog.com for being a "valued member". I haven't played it much yet, but from first impressions it appears to be an ok game. Either way, if the game turns out to be good or not, it was a gift from Gog.com. So for that much, I appreciate it. Thank you, Gog.com!

I'm sorry, but after all these years that have gone by and the advancement in game technology and hardware, this "good old game" just doesn't hold up. I mean really? Who wants to play a top down RTS/RPG game anymore these days? This game sucks so bad, I wish I didn't buy it. I wasted $5.99 on this "good old game". I'm just going to stick with my XBOX 360 and only play Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and hopefully any newer Fallout game that launches in the future. Bethesda Softworks knows what I like! ;-)
