I just wanted to get Exodus, but I saw that the series bundle was around the same price and figured that I might as well get the fist two, and I'm glad that I did. 2033 is a bit frustrating at times, and you'll occasionally find yourself in a place where you have no clue what to do. I personally preferred Last Light, but 2033 is a great game as well. The story's well done (likely because it's based off a book), the combat is engaging, and the environment's well done too. It does have a few flaws, but it's definitely worth the price.
I've rarely had this much fun with a shooter. While I could get into everything behind it and why it's so great, a lot of other people have already explained it better than me. Only thing I can add is that the early access bugs are mostly fixed, I didn't have any issues with bugs while playing.
Prodeus was a joy to play, the enemies and weapons were well made, the level design was great, and the pixelization of 3D models actually looked pretty cool. Prodeus has quite a few issues though. As a lot of the reviews will say, there is no consequence for dying. You just spawn back at an earlier point with 100 helth and no progress lost. The devs are working on a quicksave feature, but it hasn't been implemented yet. The pacing feels off as well, Prodeus has 4 main worlds. Each getting shorter and shorter. With the final world only being 2 levels. The game doesn't have an ending either. Which would've been a massive problem if it wasn't a boomer shooter. Since the main point is just to blow stuff up, it's story is already minimal. Prodeus ends with a tease for the DLC, which just makes it feel like the game is still in early access. I loved playing through Prodeus, I enjoyed myself while doing so, but the issues are pretty big even if the gameplay is great. Also, there's some reviews saying you need a ProNet account for local saves, that's not true. Prodeus is great, but it still feels unfinished.
