Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Imperial Edition Bundle

Not a particularly good RPG

This game assumes everywhere that anyone playing it is already well-versed in D&D's rules, so it doesn't bother explaining any of it. New to D&D or only have only a very vague idea of some general rules? Too effing bad, you'll either have to go on a rampage on Google Search or just suck it up and fail in the game! The UI is just bad and you often have to go and search in multiple places to find the thing you want, if it's available anywhere at all. Even inventory-management is terrible: the game pushes a metric ton of stuff on you at all times, but there's no search, whatsoever, for e.g. the one scroll you want. If you don't already know/remember what icon the scroll has, you'll have to just go through them all until you find the correct one! Oh, and the game totally does not value players' time, constantly doing its best to try and waste as much of their time as possible and making everything clunky and time-consuming.

Cyberpunk 2077

CDPR: "PC-gamers suck!"

There's a lot to love about the game and a fricking ton of potential, if CDPR keeps supporting the game and adding stuff. I, for one, love the atmosphere, I spent a good while walking from quest to quest just because I was enjoying the scenery, the variety in the in-world ads and all that. The city does, at least at first, feel like it's bustling with life. The game doesn't do anything new or interesting mechanics-wise; it's just a pretty typical FPSRPG aside from the world the game is set in and won't cause anyone to go "wow, why doesn't any other game do this?!" Still, it doesn't matter that much, as what's there is competent-enough. I would recommend the game, even with the huge number of bugs and all, except keyboard+mouse - users are getting shafted again, with broken keybindings, broken UI, everything having been designed for console-gamers first-and-foremost and kb+m being barely an afterthought. Heck, CDPR themselves say that even PC-gamers should use a gamepad to play the game! (Though, conveniently, the store-page omits any such notions!)

The Outer Worlds

Okay, but...

The game starts out well, there's an interesting enough setting and characters and all that, but a certain kind of tediousness sets in pretty quickly, what with rather terrible combat and kinda lackluster side-quests. It all just fails to hold together for long and, at least I found myself just wishing the game would end already after I had played for a while. I'll have to also mention that I do *not* approve of this season pass - bullcrap. I would've given the game 3 stars, but I'm deducting one just for this.

Vampyr

Not very good

The dialogue is terrible, the voice-acting is terrible, graphics are subpar and the controls....oh, the controls are a god damn disaster.

Eador. Masters of the Broken World

Flawed

It's January 2nd, 2014 now, and the game continues to be buggy, crashing here and there, sometimes units become untouchable, unkillable and just stop doing anything. There seems to be quite little content to the game, with the game mostly just devolving to a "fight in a miniscule map against enemies over and over and over again." It's fun for a short while and certainly worth the little money if you can get the game on sale, but just don't expect a very polished experience or for the fun to last.
