ARTSTYLE I absolutely love the old shool pixel art in this game. It's beautifully detailed and on par with some of the best DOS/Win 95 era games. 5/5 MUSIC The chiptune style music by MASTER BOOT RECORD wonderfully captures the mood of this cyberpunk style adventure. 5/5 STORY The story is good, but not great. It has some memorable moments, and some delightful retro jokes. But at the same time some parts are quite shallow or feel a bit rushed. Unfortunately the ending is quite predictable. 3.5/5 PUZZLES Some puzzles are quite logical and straight forward while some others ask for weird solutions while a very obvious one would present itself through items in your inventory. All in all not terrible, but not great either. 3/5 OVERALL Virtualverse is a beautifully looking and sounding point and click adventure with a nice story and mediocre puzzles. If you're ready to overlook some of those faults in favor of the art and music style this is very much a game worth playing. If you're foremost looking for an exceptional story and/or challenging puzzles that consistently make sense, this might not be the ideal game for you. 4/5
