Love this game. It's not perfect, but it's close. It's been immensely fulfilling. I can't believe I'm now thinking about playing Mass Effect or Dark Souls with some mild disappointment - as if they're a downgrade. That's insane, but honestly I'd rather be playing more games like this than... most other games. I've also developed a certain trust with the game about my actions. Nothing felt cheap. This game has a save system - I never used it. This is the first time that's happened to me in over a decade. This might be the first time a game let me make bad decisions AND actually examined the reasons behind them, instead of just one of those 'load your save and see the bad ending' gimmick choices. I'm also always a fan of games that explore more grandiose scenarios and unusual ways of thinking. For any other game those ideas are just an excuse to make a villain you can punch. This game scratched an itch I didn't know I had, which is a big problem because now it's over.
