I had Rebellion but they dumbed down the AI. Making AI harder just gives it too many resources. My new laptop has 144Hz refresh. The video resolution menu was empty. Fixed it by connecting 60HZ HDMI TV. Remove TV and menu stays full.
I used to play this... Then I bought the Forbidden World DLC. AIs don't handle it very well. Also a patch gave AIs more resources. So, like a lot of 4x games, if you survive the early rush you win. STEAM was the root of the problem. I could not undo the DLC or the patch. If I had it on DVDs it all would be fine. Is GOG going to handle things better? Do we get control over what we buy?
