Let me preface this that I'm an "old guy" and not a hardcore gamer. I didn't find this game too difficult, but I don't play on the hard levels at first. The premise of this game intrigued me, so I finally picked it up. Well worh the time and money. It's not a really long game, 50 or so hours for me, but there's a lot of little side quests and details to be found. The graphics are great as is the voice acting. Storyline was interesting and the automatons (automats in the game) can get a bit repetitive, but still interesting enough. Recommended by me for what it's worth.
A silly, rediculous parody of a game and I loved it. I wish it was longer; at my slow pace it took around 20 hours or so, but I couldn't stop playing it. It was too much fun. Not much story to speak of - enough to give the game some continuity but still, LOT of fun. If you can get it on sale, it's well worth it just for bad jokes and ridiculous characters.
Bought this game a few years ago on sale. I'm something of an "old guy" and more of a casual gamer so I wasn't sure. Boy was I in for a surprise. I played the game through three times so I could try out each faction and see if/how it changed the story. Will probably play it again!
I bought the original Homeworld in '99 and spent a lot of time with it. Got homeworld 2 when it came out, but never got a chance to finish at the time. Now I can get to it again. The graphics still hold up well in both games and the story - at least H1 - is great. Highly recommend.
