While the game doesn't reach that same level as the immerison aspect of the OG classic, from an everyman joining the mafia and moving up the ranks, the remake does something else for it's own advantage to focus on the narrative since the story was the stronger element of the original game. I liked it overall the final product and I'm so happy that they gave us many optional to tweak the diffcultiy, just for us older fans could reach closer to the OG so that's always a big plus for me. I played this back on release and platinum the game. it had been a while since i played it so I thought i'd rebuy it on PC for those sweet mods. The game still is one of the best stealth horror games, is it perfect? I don't think so but it is very close, it's the best balanced for this time of survival horror, what can I say that hasn't already been said about the Alien AI, it's so unpredictable and keeps you on your toes at all times. The atompehere and sound are top tier stuff which should be celebrated. I'm not saying anything new here so I'll just say buy it and play.
