Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

The Greatest of RPGs & Fallout

Fallout: New Vegas still reigns supreme today in many peoples mind as the greatest Fallout ever made. This game has truly aged excellently, combining Bethesda's revitalization of the Fallout series into a first person RPG and Obsidian's master story telling and expierence with the classic Fallouts has given birth to the best of the series. This game has notably suffered from it's short devolpment time, factions like Ceaser's Legion suffer in content compared to the robust NCR and House. The worldspace also misses the classic Bethesda Game Studios dungeons and hidden treasures, with most of the map being either quest locations or barren desert with not much beneath the surface. Despite this the game brings to life one of the best stories and roleplaying expierences in all the modern Fallouts. Decisions truly feel like they matter and all aspects of your character build will be taken into account through conversation and the many skill checks that pop up during the game. This deep roleplaying expierence helps create what I consider to be one the greatest blends of the modern RPG with classic RPG story telling & decision making. The refined mechanics from Fallout 3 also cannot be overlooked, gunplay feels better and the massively expanded catalog of weapons make the game play much better than its predecessor. You can't go wrong with this game, wether your eager to explore the wastes or dive into the political strife of the Mojave, Fallout: New Vegas is sure to give you a RPG expierence you'll never forget.
