GRIS at its core is a fun smooth platform game with great puzzles. What makes it stand on another level is the art style and music. The game is really one big commentary on grief shown to the player in stages through colour and sound. You have to experance the game first hand to know how great it really is. 100% worth the price.
I loved the other Midnight Scenes games and this one stands above the rest for me. The look and feel are still what you come to know and love from the one man power house Octavi Navarro. With each game the graphics improve is small but impactful ways giving more weight to the scenes. As a point and click game everything you want is here. But the real hook it the story and feeling you get when playing. It is the feeling of playing a classic horror game or watching an old horror TV show. As I said in the Tital this is a personal horror story with amazing sounds and visuals that helps convey someone that is going through mental health struggles. The cast is small but all are interesting and have a reason to be in the game. For all that played to other midnight scenes games this is a must have. And for new commers to the sceries this is one that will hook them in. Thanks for reading my review and have a great day.
