Dino Crisis 2 is like to Dino Crisis what Resident Evil 2 is to Resident Evil. A more polished, more clear and easy to understand game than it's predecessor. Dino Crisis 2 takes the fixed camera angles survival horror system, and turns it into a Survival Action game. I definitely enjoy this one more than Dino Crisis 1, though I wish the GoG version had more upscaled backgrounds to fit with the higher resolution character models. The addition to be able to shoot while moving is a welcome one, making the game so much easier. I did play the game on Easy, clearing it in just under 5 hours, achieving a B rank, and having enough points to unlock all the character in the Dino Colliseum mode, though I have yet to try it at this point of the review. All in all, I highly recommend this game over the first, but I feel it would make a better playthrough having played through Dino Crisis before playing this one.
