I just finished the game recently, I really liked it, what felt slightly different in the beginning brought me a familiar feeling and experience from previous parts later in the game. I was horrified with some cutscenes in between levels, those were really disturbing due to the way they were “filmed” in almost deep-fried quality. Story is interesting, though in the middle of the game you may find yourself a bit confused, because it’s not that easy to keep up with all reminiscences of the other characters. But it all connects and unfolds in an interesting, somewhat two sided story. The addition of the 1-st person gameplay diversifies the game in a way that perfectly works for the game world. Overall, that’s a great release, a few bugs (very rapid Richard's attacks and black screen with only UI visible after switching to other windows in full screen mode, only save reload worked as a fix). Sad fact that this is the only game of the original quadrilogy that’s available for a purchase on PC, but thanks GOG for such an opportunity.
