Few games provide such a sense of heavy and impactful decisions, it feels like I traveled with Meve on her long journey and delt with the difficult decisions that seemed to follow her where-ever she went. The characters are brilliant and all felt really fleshed out, frankly it sadens me I won't see those characters again. That said I cannot say it was flawless, I've never really been much of a card game player myself. The game especially in its early stages weighed me down with several new mechanics and puzzles which were challenging to all pick up so quickly. Maybe I am just slow but there was a lot to take in so early, and I hate to admit it but I got frustrated here and there. That changed though once I got the hang of the mechanics and I felt really powerful at several points and it shows that gwent has come along way since witcher 3. I like how story elemets can effect the your deck too in both a poistive and negative way, just makes the decisions that much harder. I also cannot foget to mention that the soundtrack is superb! To sum up! the story, choices, characters and story easily felt like the strongest aspects. The cards and all there mechnics can be a bit much at first but became bery fun and fluid, it is a very witcher experience and I can easily reccomend it! well done cd project!
