I have waited for a new game in the Ninja Gaiden series for a long time and this not only didn't disappoint, it excels. Ragebound has direct throwbacks to the classic series that both showcase reminiscent gameplay to its predecessors, but also manages to bring something new to the franchise. The difficulty feels just right, if you're looking for a classical style level of difficulty that is also fair. The variety of moves allow for a good variety of options when facing multiple enemies on the screen and the graphical style is both modern and with stylistic traits that remind me of both the classic and modern series. The music is top notch and features Keiji Yamagishi, one of the composers for the NES series. Highly recommended.
