As someone that's been kind of bored with the FPS genre, Severed Steel feels like a breath of fresh air. Frantic and breakneck paced combat with a highly destructible environment. I can't tell you how much joy I get out of sliding under enemies or pulling the pistol from their belt before clearing a room. Slo-mo feels SO satisfying to use and the range of motion your character has is insanely good. The cannon makes for some really fun entrances and a backup when your other hand's empty The story's kept to a minimum, which I actually don't mind, I think the gameplay more than makes up for that
gether, what would people say, do you think? An absolutely fantastic roleplaying game that lives up to and builds on the promise of the series. Extremely grateful for the turn based RPG style over real time with pause. Hopefully as much a gamechanger as Baldur's Gate 2 on RPGs at large!
