Disciples: Liberation - GOG Edition

A good game

This is a nice fantasy game with some awesome graphics, nice gameplay and enjoyable turn-based battle. Though, a few things could be better: - Story telling. Too many times I felt that some pieces of information were left out of quests and conversations with companions. - Oversimplification of characters. I majorly enjoy how characters are presented in games like "Pathfinder" and "Dragon Age". Where characters are defined by what they do over the course of the story. Here you get a "Kings Bounty II" vibe where characters summarize themselves up front. (Hi! I am a feral elf, my name is Derek the Impulsive, I just killed this human kid for trespassing, now go and kill his father instead of me!) - UI. Something tells me the UI in this game was made for a controller, and not the keyboard. Very strange placement of manual save options. Also, during the enemy turn in fights, when you see the battle is doomed, you can`t just jumpto an earlier save. You HAVE to watch being butchered until it is your turn.
