Like if I have any real comparison to other ports, beyond the 360 versions. Just happy this game got this solid of an official treatment to keep it going.
Just about 2 hours in, so far so good after struggling with having to skip the starting video, and forgetting the vanilla game is pretty rough in technical side. Don't really appreciate the story line nerf at the start, but has my curiosity up.
Simple but fun gameplay mixing into a mostly solid experience, held slightly back by limited choice in difficulty and rather weak boss fights. Could do with a fourth difficulty setting, that takes out the single life system in hardcore mode. Otherwise enjoyed it a fair bit.
