Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper has two bugs that the user must fix: 1. Settings not saving properly, which can fixed by adding a .dll file that must be found online. 2. Suddenly being unable to save your game (by far the biggest problem) This can be fixed by making the game large address aware, using a 3rd party application. These are serious issues that the user should not have to fix by themselves in order to get the game playable. The needed .dll should be included by GOG or devs, and large address aware flag should be set. This is unplayabe in this state, buyer beware.
The in game soundtrack does not loop properly, and has to be fixed by the user. Buyer beware.
